During the 44th Annual OBIE Awards Event, Jason Janssen with DRB Homes was presented with the Sales Manager of the Year award! The Atlanta Sales and Marketing Council (SMC) presents the OBIE Awards on behalf of the Greater Atlanta Home Builders Association (HBA) to leaders in the Atlanta new home construction industry.
Throughout his career, Janssen held various roles, including VP of Sales and Marketing, General Sales Manager, and Onsite Sales in multiple markets across the Southeast. He joined his new team in September 2023 as the Area Sales Manager, bringing over 20 years of experience in the new home sales industry.
Currently, Janssen manages a team of 22 agents across 11 communities in territories, including Auburn, Alabama, and the south side of Atlanta. Under his leadership, the team sold approximately 433 homes, generating over $195 million in revenue. He is renowned for his positivity, compassion for new home sales, strong work ethic, sense of humor, and amiable nature. He excels in sharing uplifting messages and inspiring stories to keep the sales team motivated and ready to tackle daily challenges.
Janssen leads monthly sales meetings with encouraging messages and engaging activities to foster team bonding. He has implemented numerous training courses to enhance the sales team’s CRM skills, CMA abilities, and proficiency in writing sales contracts, all of which contribute to meeting sales goals. He is a strong leader who continuously motivates the sales team to achieve their ambitious targets.
